Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the transmission range selector lever (2).

  2. Install the washer.
  3. Install the transmission range selector lever nut (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Press the locking tabs (2) inward (arrows) and clip in the transmission range selector lever cable to the bracket (3).

  5. Connect the range selector lever cable end terminal (1) to the range selector lever (4).
  6. Adjust the range selector cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
  7. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
