Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTC P0729 is a Type B DTC.
Torque limitation in drive (D) range 135 N.m (96 lb ft), in reverse (R) range 150 N.m (111 lb ft).
The TCM freezes transmission adaptive functions.
The TCM turns OFF all solenoids.
The TCM commands 5th gear.
The TCM allows the vehicle to operate only in the second gear and reverse (R) range after a stop.
