Rear End Spoiler Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Open and support the liftgate.
  2. Remove the liftgate upper center trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1 Rear End Spoiler Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
5 N.m (44 lb in)
2 Rear End Spoiler Nut (Qty: 3)
Tighten 
5 N.m (44 lb in)
3 Rear End Spoiler

Procedure

  1. Apply masking tape to protect the area around spoiler.
  2. Using a trim type release tool disengage the two rear end spoiler clips.
  3. Remove the grommet from the liftgate outer panel.
  4. Disconnect the electrical harness connector.
  5. Disconnect the rear washer hose.
  6. Remove the rear end spoiler.
  7. Transfer parts as needed.
