Conditions for Setting the DTCs

NOTE:

The scan tool display range is between -40 and +150°C (-40 and +302°F).

P0097 

The ECM detects that the IAT sensor 2 signal is less than 10 Hz, colder than -60°C (-76°F), for greater than 5 s.

P0098 

The ECM detects that the IAT sensor 2 signal is greater than 390 Hz, warmer than 150°C (302°F), for greater than 5 s.

P0099 

The ECM detects that the IAT sensor 2 signal is intermittent or has abruptly changed for longer than 5 s.
