Action Taken When the DTC Sets

P2723 and P2724 are Type A DTCs.
TCM freezes transmission adaptive functions.
TCM commands maximum line pressure.
TCM inhibits Tap Up/Tap Down.
TCM inhibits Manual Up/Manual Down with the gear selector.
Torque management is enabled.
TCM inhibits powertrain braking.
TCM inhibits neutral idle.
TCM inhibits auto grade braking.
TCM limits the transmission to reverse and 5th range - P2723 only.
TCM limits the transmission to reverse and 3rd range - P2724 only.
