Preliminary Procedure Remove the front bumper fascia opening upper cover. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Upper Cover Replacement .
1	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Procedure Disconnect the release cable from the hood primary latch. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.

Remove the front bumper fascia opening upper cover. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Upper Cover Replacement .

Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Procedure

Disconnect the release cable from the hood primary latch.
Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
