Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B153D Seat Belt Buckle-Driver, buckle the driver seat belt.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 1 and the low reference terminal 2.
    • If not infinite resistance 

      Replace the B153D Seat Belt Buckle-Driver.

    • If infinite resistance 
  3. Unbuckle the driver seat belt.
  4. Test for less than 1 Ω between the signal circuit terminal 1 and the low reference terminal 2.
    • If 1 Ω or greater 

      Replace the B153D Seat Belt Buckle-Driver.

    • If less than 1 Ω 
  5. All OK.
