Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear axle seal (1) in the rear differential carrier (2).

  2. Using the J-44809  installer (1), install the rear axle seal.
  3. Install the rear axle shaft. Refer to Rear Axle Shaft Replacement .
  4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
