Removal Procedure

- Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
- Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Clamp to Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Loosen
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose to Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Separate
- Remove the power steering gear outlet hose bracket bolt (1) and the plastic push pin (2) and separate the power steering gear inlet hose (3) from the vehicle frame.
- Power Steering Gear Inlet and Outlet Hose Bolt to Steering Gear - Remove
- Power Steering Gear Inlet Hose to Steering Gear - Separate
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose to Steering Gear - Separate
- Remove the power steering gear inlet and outlet hose seals (4) from the power steering gear inlet and outlet hoses.
DISCARD the seals.
- Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the vehicle.
