Installation Procedure

  1. Install the right rear intermediate pipe to the vehicle.
  2. Position, but do not secure, the right rear intermediate pipe to the retaining clips.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the right rear intermediate pipe fitting (1) to the rear brake hose fitting and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  6. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the right rear rail retaining clips (1).

  8. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the right rail retaining clips (1).

  10. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the retaining clips (1).

  12. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the rear floor retaining clips (1).
  13. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) .

  15. Install the underbody cross sill shield (1) and the 2 nuts.

  17. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the front floor retaining clips (1).

  19. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the retaining clip (1).

  21. Secure the right rear intermediate pipe to the retaining clips (1).

  23. Connect the right rear intermediate pipe fitting (1) to the BPMV and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
  24. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  25. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
