Installation Procedure

  1. Install the BPMV front brake pipe to the vehicle.
  2. Position, but do not secure, the BPMV front brake pipe to the retaining clips.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the BPMV front brake pipe fitting (1) to the right front brake hose and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  6. Secure the BPMV front brake pipe to the retaining clip (1).
  7. Lower the vehicle to access the upper brake pipe retaining clips.

  9. Secure the BPMV front brake pipe to the retaining clips (1).

  11. Install the BPMV front brake pipe fitting (1) to the BPMV and tighten the fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
  12. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  13. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
  14. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
