Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Electronic Vacuum Pump (EVP)

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the Electronic Vacuum Pump (EVP) (3).
  3. Remove the two EVP fasteners (2).
  4. Position the EVP out of the way.
  5. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to ENGINE SUPPORT FIXTURE .

  6. Remove the shift cable bracket to transmission mount bolt (4).
    7. NOTE:

    Do Not remove the shift cable bracket bolt.

  7. Loosen the shift cable bracket bolt (5).
  8. Remove and DISCARD the left transmission mount to bracket bolts (1).
  9. Remove the left transmission mount to body bolts (2).
  10. Remove the left transmission mount to body nut (3).
  11. Remove the transmission mount (6) from the vehicle.
