Installation Procedure

  1. Install the left transmission mount (6) to the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the transmission mount to body bolts (2) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
  3. Install the transmission mount to body nut (3) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
  4. Install the NEW left transmission mount to transmission bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) plus 60-75 degrees.
  5. Install the shift cable bracket to transmission mount bolt (4) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  6. Tighten the shift cable bracket bolt (5) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  7. Remove the engine support fixture. Refer to ENGINE SUPPORT FIXTURE .

  8. Reposition the EVP (3) to the transmission mount.
  9. Install the EVP to transmission mount nuts (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  10. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the EVP (3).
  11. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
