Removal Procedure

Cut the shift boot in area shown (1), then pull the shift boot downward.

Cut the shift knob collar retaining tabs (1, 2) in the area shown.

Slide the knob extension (1) downward.
Remove the shift knob retaining clip (2).

Disconnect the shift knob electrical connector (1).
Using a trim tool, remove and DISCARD the shift bezel (3)
Remove and DISCARD the shift knob assembly (2).
