Removal procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the 2 turbocharger oil return pipe bolts (1).

    NOTE: Simplified Graphic. DO NOT remove the warm up three way catalytic converter.
  3. Place a drain pan below the vehicle.
  4. Release the turbocharger oil return pipe connector (4) and disconnect the turbocharger oil return pipe from the engine block.
  5. Remove the turbocharger oil return pipe (2) and the gasket (3).
  6. Inspect the turbocharger oil return pipe for damage or restriction. Do NOT attempt to clean or repair the pipe. Replace the pipe if it has damage or a restriction.
