Installation Procedure

Install the drive belt tensioner (1).

Install the lower drive belt tensioner bolt (3).
Install the upper drive belt tensioner bolt (2).
Tighten the lower drive belt tensioner bolt to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Tighten the upper drive belt tensioner bolt to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
Rotate the drive belt tensioner pulley bolt (1) in the direction shown until the bore (2) aligns with the bore in the engine front cover, using a TORX wrench and hold in position.

Install a suitable punch (1) through the drive belt tensioner bore (2) to the engine front cover bore to fix the tensioner in position.

Install the drive belt (1) according to the shown routing.

Move the drive belt tensioner until the punch can be removed (see step 6) and remove the punch from the engine front cover bore and drive belt tensioner bore.
Allow the tensioner to slide back slowly.
Install the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .
