Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air conditioning compressor and power steering pump bracket (2).

  2. Install the 3 air conditioning compressor bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the air conditioning compressor to air conditioning compressor bracket. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (1.4L LUV) .
  4. Install the drive belt to crankshaft balancer, drive belt tensioner and air conditioning compressor. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  5. Install the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Close the hood.
