Installation Procedure

Install a NEW gasket. (1)

Water Pump (2) »Install
Install the 2 NEW front cover bolts (1, 8).

NOTE: Mind the different bolt length.
Install the remaining 8 bolts (2-7, 9, 10).
Tighten the 5 water pump bolts (3-5, 7, 9) and the 5 engine front cover bolts (1, 2, 6, 8, 10) in a cross sequence to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

CAUTION: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
Tighten ONLY the 2 front cover bolts (1, 8) to an additional 30 degrees, using the EN-45059 meter.
- Bolt (1) 60 mm (2.362 in)
- Bolt (8) 52 mm (2.047 in)
