Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW gasket. (3)

  2. Install the thermostat. (2)
  3. Bolt (1) [4x]»Tighten 8 N.m (71 lb in)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (1.8L LUW and LWE) , Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (2.0L Diesel LUZ)  and Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (1.4L LUV) »Install
