Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  3. Remove the radiator upper air seal.
  4. Remove the left and right side radiator air baffles.
  5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet air hose from the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement .
  6. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air hose from the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement (Manual Transmission) and Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement (Automatic Transmission) .
  7. Unclip the transmission fluid cooler (1) from the radiator.

  8. Reposition the transmission fluid cooler (1) away from the radiator and secure.
  9. Unclip the air conditioning condenser (2) from the charge air cooler (1).

  10. Reposition the air conditioning condenser (2) forward and below the front bumper impact bar.
  11. Unclip the charge air cooler (2) from the radiator (1).

  12. Lift the charge air cooler (2) up and away from the radiator (1).
