Installation Procedure

Install the adjuster assembly (2) to the adjuster actuator lever (1).

Turn in the adjuster as far as possible.
Install the parking brake cable (3) to the parking brake lever (2).

Install the lower spring (4) to front brake shoe.
Install the brake shoes (1).
Install the brake shoe springs (1), using the CH 346 mounting tool to twist spring caps.
Install the adjuster spring (1). Ensure that the loop end of the spring fully engages the tab on the actuator lever.

Install the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement .
Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Lower the vehicle.
