Installation Procedure

  1. Install the damper stud (1) to the rear brake and tighten to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Attach the brake caliper vibration damper (2) to the stud (1) by turn in 2 threads ONLY.
  3. Tighten the brake caliper vibration damper (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in) with a suitable tool.
  4. Close the cap (2) of the brake caliper vibration damper (1).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
