Preliminary Procedure It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only perform the steps in the headliner replacement procedure that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (with Sunroof) and Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (without Sunroof) .
1	Sunroof Window Motor Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 4 N.m (36 lb in)
2	Sunroof Window Motor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. After repairs or replacement, initialize the sunroof motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process . Verify the operation of the sunroof before installing the headliner.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
After repairs or replacement, initialize the sunroof motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process .
Verify the operation of the sunroof before installing the headliner.
