Procedure A

  1. Remove front seat outer side trim cover.
  2. Partially remove seat cushion cover and pad and lift up far enough to be able to access the horizontal drive cables coming from the actuator motor.
  3. Separate the flex cables from the motor side by pulling them out of the motor. If other side of the cable is dis-connected from the drive-nut in the track, then feed it into drive-nut. Using an electric drill motor, connect each of the free ends of the cable, to the drill chuck independently and move the seat forward two inches at a time, per side, until you have gained enough access to the seat rear floor mounting bolts.
