Conditions for Setting the DTC

The DTC P059F will be set during a key cycle when the commanded louver position can not be achieved after 3 attempts are made to move the louvers. The DTC will be stored as current for this key cycle but the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) will not be illuminated.
On the next key cycle the louvers will be commanded to move again. If the commanded louver position can not be achieved after 3 more attempts, the MIL will be illuminated and DTC P059F will be set as current.
The DTC P151E will set if there is no communication on the bi-directional control circuit.
