Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Differential Oil Cooler Inlet Hose/Pipe to Rear Transmission Cooler Pipe (LSA)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Place a drain pan under the differential oil cooler inlet hose.
  3. Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the differential oil cooler inlet hose.
1 Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Bracket Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Bracket
3 Quick Disconnect Connect Retainer
4 Differential Oil Cooler Inlet Hose to Rear Transmission Cooler Pipe

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the quick connect fittings from the differential oil cooler inlet hose. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Check the transmission fluid level and fill the transmission to the proper level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check .
  3. Check transmission hoses and pipes for leaks.
