Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Differential Oil Cooler Inlet Hose/Pipe to Rear Transmission Cooler Pipe (LS7)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Place a drain pan under the transmission fluid cooler pipe.
  3. Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the transmission fluid cooler pipe.
1 Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bracket Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Transmission Fluid Cooler Bracket
3 Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Quick Disconnect Connect Retainer (Qty: 2)
Procedure 
Disconnect the quick connect fittings from the transmission fluid cooler pipe. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
4 Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe-Differential Oil Cooler Inlet Hose to Rear Transmission Cooler Pipe

Procedure

  1. Check the transmission fluid level and fill the transmission to the proper level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check .
  2. Check transmission hoses and pipes for leaks.
