Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the generator bracket assembly. Refer to Generator Bracket Replacement (LS7, LSA) .
  2. Disconnect the engine harness connector (4) from the camshaft position sensor (2).
  3. Remove the camshaft position sensor mounting bolt (1).
  4. Remove the camshaft position sensor (2) from the engine front cover.
