Preliminary Procedures Remove the rear compartment lid carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Carpet Replacement (Coupe)Rear Compartment Lid Carpet Replacement (Convertible) . Disconnect and unclip all wiring harnesses from rear compartment lid. Disconnect the rear compartment key cylinder release cable from the lid latch and unclip the cable from the lid.
1	Compartment Lid Weatherstrip Procedure Clean the mounting surface using a mixture of 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and 50 percent water by volume, or high-flash naphtha.
