Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Rear Transmission Cooler Outlet Pipe to Differential Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe (LSA)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the underbody brace. Refer to Underbody Brace Replacement (Coupe and Convertible)Underbody Brace Replacement (Convertible Only) .
  3. Place a drain pan under the front transmission fluid cooler pipe.
  4. Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the transmission fluid cooler outlet pipe.
1 Rear Transmission Cooler Outlet Pipe to Differential Oil Cooler Hose Retainers (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Rear Transmission Cooler Outlet Pipe to Differential Oil Cooler Hose

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the quick connect fittings from the front transmission cooler pipe. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the quick connect fittings from the differential oil cooler outlet hose. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  3. Check the transmission fluid level and fill the transmission to the proper level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check .
  4. Check transmission hoses and pipes for leaks.
