Repair Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install any components or connectors that have been removed or replaced during diagnosis.
  2. Perform any adjustment, programming, or setup procedures that are required when a component or module is removed or replaced.
  3. Clear the DTCs.
  4. Turn OFF the ignition for 60 s.
  5. Engine running, command each cylinder deactivation solenoid ON and OFF with a scan tool.
  6. Verify the follow parameters display OK or Not Run during each command.
    • Cylinder 1, 4, 6, or 7 Deactivation Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
    • Cylinder 1, 4, 6, or 7 Deactivation Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status
    • Cylinder 1, 4, 6, or 7 Deactivation Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
    • If any parameter displays Malfunction 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If each parameter displays OK or Not Run 
  7. Verify no DTCs are set.
    • If no DTCs are set 
  8. All OK.
