Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
    NOTE:

    DTC P3401, P3425, P3441, and P3449 set with an open ignition circuit fuse.

  1. Ignition ON, command the Cylinder Deactivation System ON and OFF with a scan tool:
  2. Verify the follow parameters display OK or Not Run during each command.
    • Cylinder 1, 4, 6, or 7 Deactivation Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
    • Cylinder 1, 4, 6, or 7 Deactivation Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status
    • Cylinder 1, 4, 6, or 7 Deactivation Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
    • If any parameter displays Malfunction 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If each parameter displays OK or Not Run 
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  4. Verify the DTC P3401, P3425, P3441, or P3449 does not set.
    • If a DTC set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If a DTC does not set 
  5. All OK.
