Engine Block Valley Cover Cleaning and Inspection

  1. Clean the valley cover in solvent.
    2. WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  2. Dry with compressed air.
  3. Inspect for restrictions within the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) passages (1, 4).
  4. Inspect for damaged threads (2) and damaged sealing surfaces (3).
