Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (LS3, LS7, LSA) Intake Manifold Replacement (LS7) .
  2. Remove the oil pressure switch. Refer to Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement (L99, LS3) Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement (LS7) .

  3. Remove the engine valley retaining bolts (1).
  4. Remove the engine valley cover (2).
  5. Remove the engine valley gasket (3).
  6. Remove the O-rings (4) from the engine valley cover (2).
