Preliminary Procedures Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSA, LS3, LS7, L99 Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) . Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LS7, LSA) .
1	Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Special Tools EN-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2	Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Fastener Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Procedure Disconnect the engine oil cooler pipe from the engine oil cooler. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
