Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose Replacement (LS3, L99, LSA)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSA, LS3, LS7, L99 Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
3. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (L99, LS3)Generator Replacement (LS7, LSA) .

Procedure

1. Disconnect the engine oil cooler coolant inlet hose from the engine oil cooler. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection 
2. Release the engine oil cooler coolant inlet hose at the engine side , by sliding the plastic cap as far back as possible. Use a pick tool if necessary.
