Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .
  2. Drain the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSA Static) Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSA Vacuum Fill) .
1 Charge Air Cooler Coolant Quick Connect Hose Clamp Retainer (Qty: 3)
2 Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Clamps (Qty: 1)
Special Tools 
BO-38185  Hose Clamp Pliers
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
