Hood Air Scoop Replacement (Z28)

1 Hood Air Scoop Deflector Push-In Retainer (Qty: 7)
2 Hood Air Scoop Deflector
3 Hood Air Scoop Nut (Qty: 6)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
4 N.m (35 lb in)
4 Hood Air Scoop

Procedure

  1. Release the single rear center retainer and remove the hood air scoop.
  2. Using a 50/50 solution by volume of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water, clean the area where the hood air scoop will be installed.
  3. Dry the area with a clean cotton lint-free towel.
  4. Position the hood air scoop forward alignment pin to the hole in the hood to align the hood air scoop and seat the rear retainer.
  5. Install the nuts.
