Preliminary Procedure Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Cadillac Escalade) , Headlamp Replacement (Tahoe) , Headlamp Replacement (Escalade PLATINUM) , Headlamp Replacement (Non HID) , Headlamp Replacement (Yukon) . Remove the grille support. Refer to Front Grille Support Replacement . Disconnect the hood latch cable. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement .
1	Hood Latch Screw (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Hood Latch TIP: Disconnect the electrical connector.
