Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Secondary Air Injection Feed Tube & Bracket Fastener

  1. Remove the secondary air injection feed tube (2) bracket fastener (1).
  2. Raise and properly support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  3. Disconnect the secondary air injection feed tube (1) from the secondary air injection pump (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Lower the vehicle.

  5. Disconnect the secondary air injection feed tube (1) from the secondary air injection check valve (2) and remove the feed tube from the vehicle.
