Preliminary Procedure Raise and properly support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the secondary air injection pump, if equipped. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pump Replacement (LKW) .
1	Knock Sensor Fasteners (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 (89 lb in)
2	Knock Sensors (Qty: 2) Procedure Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connectors from the knock sensors.

Procedure
Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connectors from the knock sensors.
