Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief  .
  2. Remove the fuel feed front pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement (LTG) , Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement (LKW) .

  3. Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the retainers (2).
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  5. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the vehicle.
