Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the passenger instrument panel lower trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Driver Side Lower) , Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Passenger Side Lower) .
  3. Remove the front floor console front compartment. Refer to Front Floor Console Front Compartment Replacement .
1 Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .
2 Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad

Procedures

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainers securing the trim pad to the instrument panel assembly.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  3. Transfer all necessary components.
