Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount to the vehicle.
  2. Install the rear engine mount to the engine mounting bolts from under the vehicle. Do not tighten at this time.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the front engine mount to the engine mounting bolts through the wheel well and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
  4. Lower the engine.

  5. Install the engine mount to the frame mounting bolts through the wheel well and tighten to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
  6. Install the front propeller shaft, 4WD vehicles only. Refer to Front Propeller Shaft Replacement .
  7. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel) , Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel) .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
