Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 Fill) , Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) . Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
