Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .

  3. Remove the head-up bolt (1) that secures the head up display (HUD) to the steering column bracket.

  4. Remove the HUD retaining nuts (1).
  5. Remove the HUD (2) from the vehicle.
