Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust Muffler with Resonator, Exhaust, and Tail Pipe Replacement (LFX Convertible) , Exhaust Muffler with Resonator, Exhaust, and Tail Pipe Replacement (L99,LS3,LFX) , Exhaust Muffler with Resonator, Exhaust, and Tail Pipe Replacement (Performance Exhaust (NPP)) .
  2. Remove the two EVAP canister retaining bolts.
  3. Slide the canister away from the body brace to provide access to the canister vent valve.
  4. Clean away any debris that may be present around the EVAP canister vent valve.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the EVAP canister vent valve.

  6. Twist the EVAP canister vent valve counterclockwise.
  7. Pull the EVAP canister vent valve from the EVAP canister.
