Removal Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Do not attempt to repair sections of nylon pipes. Replace damaged nylon pipes.
- Replace the vapor hoses/pipes with original equipment or parts that meet original specifications.
- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
- Detach the evaporative emission (EVAP) hose (2) from the EVAP hose to fuel tank retaining clips (1).
- Remove the EVAP hose (1) from the fuel tank.
WARNING:
To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
