Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CMP sensor (2) to the engine.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    3. Fig 2: Identifying CMP Sensor & Electrical Connector

  3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector (1) to the CMP sensor (2).
  4. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .
