Intake Manifold Removal (LFX)

  1. Disconnect and remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube (1) from the intake manifold and right camshaft cover.

  2. Remove the evaporative (EVAP) hose from the intake manifold and EVAP solenoid.

  3. Remove the fuel injection fuel rail shield bolt (1).
  4. Remove the fuel injection fuel rail shield (2).
  5. Remove the engine rear noise shield (3).

  6. Remove the intake manifold bolts (1).
  7. Remove the intake manifold assembly (2).

  8. Remove and discard the intake manifold gasket (1).
